Haulix legal
Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Haulix collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you visit our website or use our software and related services (“Service”). It also explains what happens if you choose to connect a third-party business system.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, company, email address, phone number, account details, support messages, and information you submit through a form or upload.
- Business records you connect: with your authorization, records from connected dispatch, GPS, fleet, billing, accounting, or other business systems. Depending on the source and permissions you grant, these may include customer and vendor details, invoices, payments, transactions, job and vehicle records, and related financial or operational data.
- Website and service activity: technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, log data, and actions taken within the Service. We may use cookies or similar technologies needed to operate the website and Service.
2. Connected third-party accounts
If you choose to connect a third-party account, Haulix will access only the data made available through the permissions you authorize and will use it to provide the features you request, such as combining business records and generating reports. The available data and access depend on the connection you approve. You can disconnect an integration through the third-party provider or ask us for help at info@haulix.io. After disconnection, we stop obtaining new data through that connection and handle previously collected data as described below. Haulix processes this data for its own Service under this policy, not on the third-party provider’s behalf.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the Service; connect and reconcile business records; prepare reports and requested audits; set up and support accounts; communicate about your requests and the Service; maintain security and prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use data obtained through connected third-party services to advertise to you or others, and we do not sell it.
4. When we share information
We may share information with service providers who help us host, operate, secure, and support the Service, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also share information when you direct us to, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition subject to applicable law. We do not make data obtained through connected third-party services available to others for their own independent use or marketing.
5. Security and access
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. Access to customer information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need it to operate or support the Service. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; please contact us if you believe your account or data has been compromised.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information while needed to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described here, and meet legal or legitimate business requirements. If you disconnect a source or close your account, you may ask us to delete the associated information by emailing info@haulix.io. We will delete or de-identify it as required by applicable law, subject to information we must retain for legal, security, or recordkeeping reasons. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before they are removed in the normal backup cycle.
7. Your choices and requests
You can choose what information to provide and whether to connect a third-party account. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email info@haulix.io. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. If your information was provided by a business customer, we may direct your request to that customer.
8. Children and third-party sites
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. Links to third-party websites and services are governed by their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice if required by law. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@haulix.io.
